I love DIY, photos, books, food and things that make you feel well, like new sneakers.

This blog contains pics, reblogs, quotes, links and me. It is mostly a snapshot of little things making my day, ranging from the private to the ultimately professional.

Nice one.
I try to get everything duty-related (bills, admin stuff, gym, phone calls) done during weeknights so i can doodle around come saturday. I would never have the leisure to do stuff like setting up my workshop, reading meaningful amounts of books and magazines, enjoying a sunny day and time with Isabelle if i wasn’t disciplined during the week. Even if that meens stressful evenings.

Of course, work and stuff like that is on my mind, but I have much more time to actually think through things that need to be taken care of. From a distance, you can actually see the big picture everybody keeps talking about (and usually leaves it at that, talking). Also, when I goof off making stuff, cooking, or reading, I tend to have the best ideas. Thankfully, ideas are quite important in my day job.

We just spent an awesome afternoon exploring a park in Cologne that we haven’t seen before. Just us, the sun, and a good time. A nice café afterwards, now on to reading and maybe some gym time later - before heading out for our anniversary dinner. Maybe that’s why i love weekends. I see more of Isa.

"What would happen, for example, if we were to start thinking about food as less of a thing and more..."

“What would happen, for example, if we were to start thinking about food as less of a thing and more of a relationship?”

-
Unhappy Meals - Michael Pollan - New York Times

As hardly any VC deal has been sent to the competition authorities for approval most of the big done deals are null and void. Hence, under German law the VC never became the owner of the shares. The shareholder agreement is just as null and void as the transfer or issuance of new shares to the VC. In return the VC can only require the target to re-transfer his investment. Good luck with…

Kurz: weniger Bildung, weniger Chancen, dickeres Auto. Bohlen ist ihr Schutzpatron.
