My favorite rapper, Guru from Gang Starr, suffered a heart attack and was put in an artificial coma after surgery. When I DJed, i played at least 2 Gang Starr songs per set, because i was such a huge fan. I own every album twice and bought every single i could get my hands on, be it with Guru rapping on it or DJ Premier producing it. Trust me, they made a lot of music. I have an MP3 collection of about 4 GB (no joke) comprised of music with Gang Starrs involvement.
“The Planet” which is embedded here, is my favourite song by far. The story, the mood, and the beat are perfect. Listen to it.
