Obligatory iPhone predictions
marco:
Casey Liss:
Am I going to be rewarded for my wait until June with a new iPhone? I know that’s what everyone says, but is this really likely?
The first iPhone was released in late June, 2007 after being announced at a conference 6 months prior.

There’s a conference on June 8th,...

I never get in any trouble when I talk about coffee, headphones, and Apple. It’s a shame that there are so many problems with the reality of trying to discuss much of more substance under my real identity with a nonzero readership.
I probably just need to start using more options between discussing something with a few friends (audience: 5 people with terrible memories) or blogging about...

My new, serious blog. →
It’s in German. It’s about serious stuff. Somehow i don’t put soo much stuff on it, but it should grow on me. Don’t take it too seriously, btw.
Oh, and I’m gonna pull updates into here. Probably.

Japanese Cyber Drifters
60 people now live in tiny cubicles in what used to be a cyber cafe in Japan. Called cyber drifters these people have just enough money to stay off the streets. At 500 dollars a month these people get no natural light, or fresh air. They live here because it is all they can afford… but hey, at least they have Internet right?

bijan:
Most kids (including mine) are well known for asking the famous question:
“Are we there yet?”
Kids aren’t very patient. When we drive from Boston to NYC they will ask this question 10 minutes into the trip. Everytime. Just like clockwork.
VCs ask this question too. Founders tell us all about the new stuff coming down the road and we can’t wait to see it.

“When this pibe arrived from his hometown of Lyon France, loaded with a backpack full of music from back home (dancehall, techno, hip hop) to cosmopolitan Buenos Aires 2006, he went to dance at Zizek Club and something short-circuited deep inside.”
Nuff said.
Getting things done in the snow
So, i am on vacation, boarding in a really sweet resort with fresh powder and all. Then i tear a muscle and have to stay home. Damnit, this is just history repeating.
At least it snows like hell out there, so i can be up in the powder tomorrow when the sun is back. Take that, everyone who made fun of me yesterday.
