Tumblr is much smarter about this, and “freezes” your dashboard as you read through it. When you navigate to the next page, you see the next group of posts without repeats. New posts don’t show up (and “push” everything down) until you refresh the dashboard home.

The best green tea you'll ever make
Filter water or use fresh spring water
Boil the water real good
In the meantime, make fine slices of ginger, approx. 1 thumb tip sized root
Juice one half a lemon
Put lemon, ginger and the boiling water in a tea kettle
Wait 10-15 minutes for the water to cool to 70° C
Put loose green tea into it
Wait 3 minutes
Pour through a tea filter
Enjoy.
Repeat.
